The Hope Benefit is a premier fundraising event to support seniors in need who reside in care facilities or senior apartments. The Friends of the Foundation have hosted the Hope Benefit for 23 years, originally raising funds for the Charity Care Fund at St. Joseph Villa. 2014 marks the 4th year the Friends have helped to fundraise for the Senior Charity Care Foundation.

The Hope Benefit is organized by the Friends of the Senior Charity Care Foundation for the purpose of supporting charity care for seniors in care settings who cannot afford the total cost of their care and/or services. The Senior Charity Care Foundation uses the proceeds of the Hope Benefit to improve the quality of life for our seniors in care facilities by fulfilling unmet needs. Each year the Friends select a Continuum of Caring Award recipient who has demonstrated strong support for the senior population.
The Friends of the Foundation selected Gail Miller, to receive the 2014 Continuum of Caring Award. Please join us in honoring her remarkable commitment to seniors through her work with diabetes.
